Filter or Find

I created a Data Entry Form using the DataForm Wizard and chose the single record option.

Now I would like to either do a find for single record and automatically move to the found record on the Data Entry Form; or filter the dataset and show only the filtered record(s) on the Data Entry Form.

Does anyone know how to code this?

Some one has to know how to do a find or filter using ado.net...

my objects are:
oledbconnection
oledbadapter
dataset
