Sound Recording...

Is there a way to record sound from the user and save it on the server in ASP.Net 2.0 or greater?

You will need some application running in the Client Side (ActiveX control or Flash Control) an then Send the Audio Sound to the Server using a Web Service or file Posting.

If you want to use an approach native to .NET you might want to look into Silverlight. It's Microsofts version of flash, and it does support recording sound.

For an article on the subject see this tutorial. Notice that I do believe that sound recording only is available in .NET 4.0, and thus silverlight 4.0.
