access 2002 runtime
|
Am I asking for trouble.
Currently I have a system that runs with Access 97/2000. However I was just informed by IS that we are not going to be upgrading all machines to 2002, and in fact I am going to have 97/2000/ and some 2002 access.
So my thought is to use the access 2002 runtime, since the users never even know they are using access. The few people who need it then will have it and everyone is happy.
Question is, does it act the same as the standard program? Can I just use create object to create and instance so they can run reports (I still use access for this, even though again to the novice eye they do not realize it is access.)
I figured the people here would have some great input. I do not need specific examples, just looking for some general feedback.
Thanks!!!!
