Retreiving email address from Exchange 5.5

Greetings

Is it possible to retrieve a network user's email address from Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5, using VB code.

Preferably, I would like to retieve it via Microsoft Outlook, running on the local machine.

I would like to avoid reading it out of the .edb Exchange Database file.
