Default Re: adding or deleting fields

you need to consult the VB Books On Line help for "Table"

Dim db As Database
Dim NewTd As TableDef ' Create new TableDef object.
Dim NewFld As Field ' Create a new Field object.

Set db = DBEngine.Workspaces(0).OpenDatabase _
("Test.mdb")

Set NewTd = db.CreateTableDef("New Table Name")
Set NewFld = NewTd.CreateField("New Field Name", _
dbInteger)

NewTd.Fields.Append NewFld ' Add Field to TableDef.
db.TableDefs.Append NewTd ' Add TableDef to Database.
db.Close
