Question Opinions and Suggestions Wanted

I have developed my first app for myself it is a very basic program that I use to score three basic dart games. It works great and I am very happy with it. However I have decided to make it look better by adding colours and effects and have found that this is taking longer and is causing me more grief than the program itself.

Anyone have any suggestions on this topic.

What I want is just to simply convert my forms to something more than the standard buttons and forms look. What I started with was a gradient background which is very cool but the rest of the objects kind of look out of place.

Does the game have any animation at present, if not a small sprite may work wonders.

An easy way to jazz up the look of a small app is to include some basic pictures, you could also convert the buttoms to graphical buttoms, it all basically down to personal taste.

If you need any help, post me.

Hope it helps!

Dazz has the right idea....

Along the same lines why not put some sounds/graphics on it anytime a certain score is achieved! Add some graphics (dartboard) and have parts of it clickable, such as the bulls-eye, etc.

Cheers.
