Question Final Project Suggestions

Does anyone have a suggestion for a final project for an advanced visual basic class?

I would like to work on a program that might prove useful to someone.

If you have an idea, send it to sdunham8@metropo-s.mccneb.edu

Thanks!

Depends on your skill level.

You might want to focus on a single area since VB land is vast. For instance
Graphics: Something to demonstrate DirectX. Maybe a 3d fractal generator.
Database: Just about any kind of DB is good.
Internet: A webcrawler that goes from link to link looking for specific info of some kind
Communications: A VB interface to some kind of electronic gizmo. Communicate with X10 stuff and control your house etc.
