Talking A simple model editor.

Well. I've never programmed with DirectX but wan to know a simple way to show a 3d vie and rotate it and add vertices and faces. Stuff like that. I've decided to make a model editor. I just need to do simple stuff like resinzing and moving. Any help would be apreciated.

Well, I take it that you're not completely new to VB. If you are, I suggest finding a good book and then going from there, leave DirectX till much later.

If you are ready to head down the slippery path od DirectX, here are a few links to collections of good tutorials:
  1. DirectX 4 VB
  2. Lucky's VB Gaming
  3. Yahoo! search (took me 10 seconds)

Or an alternative would be to buy a book as they usually come with the SDK on a CD. A quicker faster way to get it.
