Default Space Ship One wins X-Prize!


Woo Hoo! Burt Rutan Won the X-Prize!

Now He and Paul Allen have liscensed the technology to Sir Richard Branson and the Virgin Group. Their goal:

"To develop the world’s first privately funded spaceships dedicated to carrying commercial passengers on space flights."

Yeah, but the real prize isn't the $10M, it's the profits to be made from space tourism.
