Default Detect Files of Unknown Names in a Folder

Let's imagine hypothetically I was creating a program in which I wanted to scan the contents of a folder, and read each file's name there into an Array of Strings.

Even easier, in a perfect world they would all end with the same extension.

Could I do this using an algorithm with IO.Exists?

There is an art to being a newbie; I pride myself on it.

Well, if you could generate all possible filenames, then yes, you could do it with IO.Exists.
Fortunately, there is the Directory.GetFiles() function, where you pass it a pattern such as C:\Rutabaga\*.pdf
and it returns all of the pdf files in the Rutabaga folder.
