Default Purchasing Options for VB.NET 2005?

I've just spent an inordinant amount of time sifting through MS and other web sites. I'm more confused about purchasing options for VB.NET 2005 than ever.

Do they offer a full fledged VB.NET 2005 version without the rest of Visual Studio.NET?

Where?

How much?

Do they have an upgrade from VB.NET 2003 standard offers?

I know there is a professional version of Visual Studio.NET. I suppose those are the features I am after.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Outside of Express Edition, I haven't seen anything that would indicate that the individual languages contained in the VS Suite are for sale separately (you've probably already looked at this).

Pricing can be found here about half-way down the page. Select the appropriate currency.

Personally, I'd go with an MSDN subscription. Not only do you get VS.NET Pro, but a whole mess of other great tools and information.

2005 express are the only seperate versions.
Express actually stands for there new academic, its the same thing.

Standard and above are all the languages.

Thanks for the information. I think I'll just see how far I can push 2003 first.
Find the things I can't live without before I try to justify another expenditure through purchasing.

Ah well, it's all new to me anyway.
