vb program special permission

Hey all,

I'm currently at work, and I do have administrator access in my network.
I have a vb program setting up a powerpoint show... and this program need to perform some file transfer. Because my supervisor don't want to let everyone here modify some things, some files and folders are marked "Read-only". The problem is, the program can't copy some files in those folders, or overwrite old existing file.

My question is: Is there a way to grant access to a specific application such as a vb program, this way, I can keep all folders and files security constraints on?

Yes, ask your supervisor to grant you the permissions you need.

Are you saying that you would like your application to be granted YOUR access to the files, even though it may be run by a different user?
