just a small question but could this code possibly also work for the checkedlistbox ?? and if so how would i do that as im still learning this.

Well, did you try it? I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work - all of the methods and properties that you need should be there... but I don't use checkedlistboxes and you could see for yourself by trying something similar with the CheckedListbox.

Yeah i tried it but it doesn't work all the checked boxes are gone when you use the code.
