Default Applying textures to .x objects

Hi,

I'm using DirectX 7 to create a game. I've created my .x object and was wondering if anyone knew how I go about attaching a texture to it?

I'm not sure but it's probably similar to DirectX8.

You create the mesh and get the number of materials then step through the textures applying them to the subsets. Try here: D3DIM at DirectX 4 VB or D3DRM at DirectX 4 VB
