Looks like more trouble for the "we are so secure we are delusional about it" crowd...

Apple releases jumbo security update

So now that the average world is starting to learn what the IT world already knew, do you think it is due to Apple gaining market shares and becoming less of an itty bitty target than they typically are? Or perhaps the world has finally just gotten fed up with their narcissistic attitude?

I recently picked up an essay by Neal Stevenson (A popular author.) at the local Borders book store.

It is chock full of thoughts on Microsoft and Apple. Specifically how they charge customers for the illusion of stability and the "Emperor has no clothes" syndrom when dealing with bugs and security holes.

I don't agree with everything He says but it is a good read.
