VB6 wont run

When I try to run VB6 it says "unexpected error; quitting" Does anyone know what could be causing this?

well I don't know what would be causing that, but something probably went wrong in the installation... just uninstall and reinstall. Have you ever had it working, or is it newly installed?

I've had this prob when i used NT and 2000. If you're using Operating systems like win' NT and 2000, maybe permissions are not given to that user properly. Try logging in as an administrator and try opening the VB. I've tried it, it worked for me. I hope it helps you.

well im using windows 98 and I only have one log on name so i think it has the highest level of access (im not sure how to check if im logged on as an administrator).

I uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked!!!! Thanks cogen

No problem .. like I said above, I have no idea what your problem was, but when in doubt, it never hurts to uninstall and reinstall.

hmmm ... well I guess it hurts a little, since it's a pain in the you know what! haha.
