Post deployment probem


hello

i parminder deep singh. I make a project which includes the data envrionment, data reports and data controls, module,splash screen and Ms-Access database prior version. This project is on Windows ME OS and in Visual Basic 6. In package it add 8 files.

I make a package successfully, but when i deploy or install the package on another system which have OS widows98SE, Windows ME, or Windows 2000 OS. Then it gives the error on last 8 file that your system files out of date can you update these. for update you restart it. But i can do this for more that 4 times but this message is still present.

following 8 files are used in deployment

File5=@ASYCFILT.DLL,$(WinSysPathSysFile),,,6/8/00 5:00:00 PM,143632,2.40.4515.0

File6=@OLEPRO32.DLL,$(WinSysPathSysFile),$(DLLSelfRegister),,1/10/01 12:11:00 PM,106496,5.0.5007.0

File7=@OLEAUT32.DLL,$(WinSysPathSysFile),$(DLLSelfRegister),,1/10/01 12:11:00 PM,573440,3.50.5007.0

File8=@msvbvm60.dll,$(WinSysPathSysFile),$(DLLSelfRegister),,8/21/00 11:22:54 AM,1388544,6.0.89.64


So please tell me how i can solve this problem

You shouldn't be getting this error for all these files, but some of
them have been reported to cause problems with newer O/S
versions like 2000/XP. You shouldn't be having any problems with
any of these files with win98se or winME.
Also, are you including mdac_typ.exe (version 2.5)?

Bou on Xp machine this is properly installed but on Win98se and winME it gives the error that u r some system files are not update can u wanmt to update for this press ok. i can press ok it prompt me to restart all these things i am doen more that 4 times but no updation it gives same result.

i have mdac_type.exe 2.0 version
