I have my little app finished, it installes and runs on my machine fine, very happy but it will not install on another computer. What do I have to do, to make it a .exe?

I am die'n over here, need to release 5 demo copies to a company for customer feedback and all that effort for nada :'(

The question doesn't make a great deal of sense.

What type of program have you created?

If you have created a Windows Application then the IDE compiles it into an executable every time you run it. In the Build menu you have the option to Build the project, which if it's a Windows Application will build the executable.

Then it's just a case of where this built application exists. That depends on where you saved the project, but if you browse to the folder where your project exists you should see a \bin folder. In the \bin folder will be a \debug and \release folder. Your executable will be in one of those folders. Which one will depend on the "Build Output Path:" setting in the Compile options of your Project's Properties.

You should just be able to distribute that executable. If nothing extra has been referenced in your project then all the end user should need to have installed is the particular framework that your project was built on.
