Variable to hold Hex

What can I declare my variable as so that it will hold a hexadecimal value?

It would probably need to be a string, since it needs to alphanumeric entry. Dec, Oct and Bin can all be Long/Integer.

As the above post states, declare it as a string or a variant, but I recommend string, since it uses up a little bit less storage space.

I would just store the number as a long integer, or integer, and convert it to a string just before displaying it. That way I could still use the number for mathematical operations....
