hi, i'm new to visual basic.

i'm currently creating a program which allows users to view their horoscopes. In order to view their horoscope, the user must input either their date of birth (dd/mm) or their zodiac, then searches...and i have no idea where and how to start.

could someone help me please!!

I would suggest using a dropdown list instead of letting the user enter information.

you could use the DTPicker control that is part of the Microsoft Common Controls. Just go to the Project menu and select components, then select Microsoft Windows Common Controls 6.0 from the list. the DTPicker should now be available in your toolbox.
