In VB goto > Project > References > Microsoft Excel 9.0 Object Library.
The version depends on which one you use.
Hope this helps...

Start coding! What do you want to do?
If you have never used VBA for Excel before, I suggest you open Excel and use the menu option 'Tools/Macro/Record new macro...' to create the basis for your code. Get it working as it should in Excel (it's easier to see what you're doing), then copy the code over to your VB project. Good luck!

I would like to make a reference to Excel in VB 6. For example, when the user click the Excel file will be launch.

Thanks

There are a lot of examples available on this forum about this issue.
Make use of this forum's fantastic search tool and look for words like
"open,close,quit,save,visible" etc...
Or you could do a Google search for Excel+VB 6.0 to get started (52.900 hits !)
Still in trouble later don't mind to post a new question then.
