Default Can't create Access.Application

I have a project being developed in VS 2015 Community. I want to display some reports in an Access 2007 database. Everything I have read says I need to have Imports Microsoft.Office.Interop.Access, and I do. However, when I type in

dim oAccess as Access.Application

it doesn't work. Access does not show up, and the only thing that appears after the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Access namespace is DAO. I have
the following references set:

Microsoft Access 16.0 Object Library
Microsoft Office 16.0 Object Library

There is a Microsoft Office 16.0 Access Database Engine Object Library shown, but if I click it and then say OK, it doesn't save the reference.

Any suggestions? I'm at my wit's end on this one.

I'm seeing the same... but don't actually have Access installed. However, have a look at this:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...vs.120%29.aspx
and this:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...vs.120%29.aspx

If that doesn't help, then perhaps someone else here that has Access installed can try this out on VS Community 2015.
